Patent number: 10408379Abstract: A hanger system for temporarily hanging a valve bank on a vertical mounting face of a substrate. The hanger system includes one or more hanger brackets for attaching to the vertical mounting face. The valve bank has one or more mounting studs protruding from an underside surface of the valve bank, in which the mounting studs are configured to couple with the hanger brackets for temporarily hanging the valve bank on the mounting face with the underside surface facing toward the mounting face. The mounting studs and hanger brackets are configured to cooperate with each other to allow the valve bank to be secured in multiple different orientations against the mounting face, thereby facilitating fixedly mounting the valve bank to the mounting face with one or more fasteners that are received through corresponding fastening receivers in the valve bank.Type: GrantFiled: June 14, 2018Date of Patent: September 10, 2019Assignee: Parker-Hannifin CorporationInventors: Erick Rudaitis, Craig Hoyt, Joshua Kidder

Publication number: 20140077950Abstract: A cover access notification device is employed with a utility meter box having a cover. The device is operable to detect when an impermissible open condition has occurred, for example, if an intruder breaks into a meter box. If a tampered condition is sensed, the device transmits a signal through a smart grid network which can be received by a revenue protection system that in turn monitors tampering of a utility meter.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 17, 2012Publication date: March 20, 2014Inventors: Erick Rudaitis, Jeffrey John Hanft

Patent number: 8414234Abstract: The embodiments described and claimed herein are improved wheelchair passenger securement systems and stations. In particular, one embodiment described and claimed herein is a drop-in system comprising a barrier module and a wall-side module, which incorporate three separate restraint devices which are configured to secure a wheelchair at three separate attachment points. The system can optionally include a moveable excursion barrier or a pull-mechanism to pre-tension at least one of the restraint devices the wheelchair securements. In a simpler embodiment, three restraint devices, such as retractors, are provided for attachment to the vehicle surfaces or structures in, for example, a generally right-triangular configuration.Type: GrantFiled: October 5, 2009Date of Patent: April 9, 2013Assignee: Q'StraintInventors: Jean-Marc Girardin, Joe Esteireiro, Erick Rudaitis

Patent number: 7144002Abstract: The present invention provides an electric locking device which has a simple structure, with which an operating time can be saved, and which has a sufficient clamping force required for operation. To a camshaft coupled to an electric motor through a speed reducing mechanism, a first cam and a second cam conjugate with each other are coupled. The first cam drives an arm driving rod in a clamping direction and the second cam drives the arm driving rod in a returning direction. Rotational motions of the first and second cams are converted into linear motions in the same direction by first and second cam contacting members supported by the arm driving rod. The arm driving rod drives a clamping arm to cause the arm to carry out a clamping operation. A cam face is provided as to move the clamping arm at a high speed until the arm reaches a vicinity of an end and to move the arm at a lower speed after the arm has reached the vicinity of the end.Type: GrantFiled: June 8, 2004Date of Patent: December 5, 2006Assignee: SMC CorporationInventors: Kai Zhao, Erick Rudaitis, David Ken Uchida, Jeffrey Gerald Kozlowski
