Abstract: A wipe for cleaning and polishing contaminated surfaces, such the external bodywork of a car, includes a substrate impregnated with a cleaning and polishing composition that is not in an emulsion form, characterised in that the composition includes at least an agent for the suspension of organic and/or inorganic materials (a), at least one cleaning agent (b) and at least one shine agent (c) and optionally a preservative agent (d), the above constituents being distinct from each other and non miscible in order to form a multiphase composition at rest. A method for making a wipe containing the above-mentioned cleaning and/or polishing composition is described.
