Abstract: A slaughtering installation for processing poultry is adapted to be used in combination with a conveying assembly for conveying poultry which is suspended from their legs in a transport direction. The slaughtering installation comprising a killing device with poultry positioning device for positioning the neck region of the poultry suspended from the conveying assembly, the killing device further comprising cutting device for cutting into the neck and thereby opening at least one blood vessel in the neck region of the poultry. The positioning device comprises a back neck guide along which the back side of the neck of the poultry is guided, and a breast neck guide along which the breast side of the neck of the poultry is guided.

Abstract: A device for separating a wishbone from a carcass part of slaughtered poultry, includes a primary wishbone knife, for separating the wishbone from meat that is naturally present thereon in the plane of the wishbone, wherein the primary wishbone knife is adapted to be introduced into and removed from the carcass part via the neck opening, two secondary wishbone knives, each for separating the wishbone from meat that is present on the outside of a leg of the wishbone, and a secondary wishbone knives actuator assembly. The secondary wishbone knives actuator assembly prescribes a secondary cutting path for each of the secondary wishbone knives relative to the carcass part. The secondary cutting paths have a curved shape that substantially follows the outer contour of the wishbone.

The conveying system includes a supply conveyor and a discharge conveyor. The supply conveyor is configured for transferring the meat products to the discharge conveyor in such a manner that the discharge orientation with which the meat products are delivered by the production station differs from the orientation with which the meat products are supplied to the processing station.

Abstract: The invention relates to conveyor system (1) for conveying packaging trays (2), for food products for example, from one or more import stations (3) to one or more export stations (4). The conveyor system is provided with an endless conveyor track comprising a rail (5), a multiplicity of trolleys which are movably connected to the rail (5), and a multiplicity of tray carriers (7) which are each coupled to the rail (5) via at least one trolley. Each tray carrier (7) is provided with a support member, preferably a support platform, configured for supporting at least one packaging tray. The use of a conveyor system (1) of this type for conveying packaging trays has the advantage over the use of a roll track, for example, that the system takes up relatively little floor space.
