  • Agglomeration of finely divided powders

    Abstract: A method and system for improving the flow properties of finely divided powders is provided. The method includes (a) agglomerating the powder by passing it through a screw feeder; and (b) spheronizing the agglomerates. The method preferably further includes (c) sizing the spheronized agglomerates. Spheronization is preferably accomplished by tumbling the agglomerates in a tilted rotating container.
