Patent number: 11316288Abstract: An electrical connector for receiving at least one electrical conductor comprises a housing, a bus bar arranged inside the housing, and at least one clamp arranged inside the housing. The clamp has a spring arm moveable relative to the bus bar between a connecting position and a disconnecting position. The spring arm cooperates with the bus bar to secure an electrical conductor to the bus bar when the spring arm is in the connecting position. The spring arm allows an end section of an electrical conductor to be inserted through an opening of the housing in the disconnecting position. At least one slider extends into the housing and is moveable relative to the housing between a closed position and an open position. The slider includes at least one sliding guide cooperating with the spring arm such that a movement of the slider translates into a movement of the spring arm.Type: GrantFiled: September 3, 2018Date of Patent: April 26, 2022Assignee: APTIV TECHNOLOGIES LIMITEDInventors: Andreas Urbaniak, Thulasiraman Shanmugam, Vijay Babu Moorthy, Sathishkumar Venkatesan, Erik Michelsen, Adrian Hanisch

Publication number: 20200259273Abstract: An electrical connector for receiving at least one electrical conductor comprises a housing, a bus bar arranged inside the housing, and at least one clamp arranged inside the housing. The at least one clamp comprises a spring arm moveable relative to the bus bar along a first axis between a connecting position and a disconnecting position. The spring arm cooperates with the bus bar to secure an electrical conductor to the bus bar when the spring arm is in the connecting position. The spring arm is positioned at a predetermined distance away from the bus bar when the spring arm is in the disconnecting position, thereby allowing an end section of an electrical conductor to be inserted through an opening of the housing into a gap between the spring arm and the bus bar or to be removed therefrom.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 3, 2018Publication date: August 13, 2020Inventors: Andreas URBANIAK, Thulasiraman SHANMUGAM, Vijay Babu MOORTHY, Sathishkumar VENKATESAN, Erik MICHELSEN, Adrian HANISCH

Patent number: 10173146Abstract: A method of treating a material to recover an oil from the material comprises heating the material to evaporate the oil, removing gas phase fluids from the material, and separating the oil from the gas phase fluids removed from the material, wherein the method includes mixing hot vapor with the material. The material being treated in the chamber is heated by friction within the chamber generated by a rotating shaft and flail. Injection of hot vapor improves the efficiency of the process to separate oil and any other evaporable liquids at lower temperatures. The thermal energy generated within the chamber is not consumed in changing the phase of large quantities of liquids in the material, and more of the energy generated is available to heat up the material and evaporate the oil fractions from the solids.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 2015Date of Patent: January 8, 2019Assignee: Thermtech Holdings ASInventors: Saeed Bikass, Stein-Kyrre Monsen, Erik Michelsen
