  • Publication number: 20190256705
Abstract: Provided are pre-dynamically cross-linked compositions including a networking additive including a flame retardant species. Specifically, such compositions include a polymer component including a pre-dynamic cross-linked polymer composition. The pre-dynamic polymer composition includes polyester component chains joined by a coupler component, the coupler component including a flame retardant species. A method of preparing a dynamic cross-linked polymer composition includes: reacting a coupler component including at least two reactive groups and a flame retardant species with a chain component including a polyester. The reacting is performed under such conditions so as to form a pre-dynamic cross-linked composition, and is performed in the presence of at least one catalyst that promotes formation of the pre-dynamic cross-linked composition.

  • Patent number: 10125222
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of oligo(alkylene glycol)-functionalized polyisocyanopeptides comprising the steps of functionalizing an isocyanopeptide with oligo-(alkylene glycol) side chains and subsequently polymerizing the oligo-alkylene glycol-functionalized isocyanopeptides. Several isocyanopeptides may be functionalized with various linear or non-linear oligo-(alkylene glycol) side chains having variable chain length. The alkylene glycol may be selected from the group consisting of ethylene-, propylene-, butylene- or pentylene glycol. Preferably, the isocyanopeptides are functionalized with at least three ethylene glycol side chains. The peptides may comprise L-amino acids, D-amino acids or D, L-amino acids. The obtained oligoalkylene-functionalized polyisocyanopeptides are a new class of materials with unique thermo-responsive properties.

  • Publication number: 20180070146
Abstract: Various implementations described herein are directed to determining variations or changes to a predetermined programming schedule. In accordance with one method, a predicted end time of video content may be determined to be later than a scheduled end time of the video content. Also, it may be determined that video content scheduled to be displayed on a first stream or channel has been moved to a second stream or channel. A scheduled recording or transmission time of video content may be altered based on detected changes to the predetermined programming schedule. A program listing such as an electronic program guide may be revised based on detected changes to the predetermined programming schedule.

  • Publication number: 20130033686
Abstract: A system and corresponding methods are disclosed for applying a dampening fluid to a reimageable surface of an imaging member in a variable data lithography system, without a form roller. In one embodiment, the system includes subsystems for converting a dampening fluid from a liquid phase to a dispersed fluid phase, and for directing flow of a dispersed fluid comprising the dampening fluid in dispersed fluid phase to the reimageable surface. The dampening fluid reverts to the liquid phase directly on the reimageable surface. In another embodiment a continuous ribbon of dampening fluid may be applied directly to the reimageable surface. This embodiment includes a body structure having a port for delivering dampening fluid in a continuous fluid ribbon directly to the reimageable surface, and a mechanism, associated with the body structure, for stripping an entrained air layer over the reimageable surface when the reimageable surface is in motion.

  • Publication number: 20090181614
Abstract: The present invention comprises a computer-implemented method for providing audio content to mobile devices via a simple, efficient telephony-based system that delivers on-demand playback to a mobile device. The present invention dynamically allocates separate and unique direct inward dialing (DID) numbers to unique combinations of identifiable user-specific mobile devices and specific pieces of audio content such that a user receives a uniquely allocated DID number at the mobile device that links to a specific piece of stored audio content. Calling a DID number enables playback of the associated specific piece of stored audio content to an identifiable user-specific mobile device. A user may call the DID number conveniently at any time and hear playback of the stored audio content without having to first select from a series menu to identify and initiate playback of the piece of stored audio content.
