  • Patent number: 7512957
Abstract: A web services namespace pertains to an infrastructure for enabling creation of a wide variety of applications. The infrastructure provides a foundation for building message-based applications of various scale and complexity. • Publication number: 20080243903
Abstract: An extensible framework that facilitates user interaction with media items (e.g., digital content). Abstraction between a user's exploration experience via a user interface component and underlying data and behavior layers is provided. A data source component provides information associated with media item(s) and a behavior component provides information associated with action(s) associated with the media item(s) to the user interface component. Separation of the user interface from the underlying data and behavior layers facilitates recognition of additional media types without modification of the user interface component as the modifications occur within the data source component and the behavior component. As such, the user interface component can be maintained independent of modifications to the data source component and/or the behavior component.
