The processor is configured to receive a list of risk events, objectives, a list of causes, generate a ratio scale prioritized hierarchy of importance of objectives; likelihoods of causes of the risk events; risk events likelihoods; risks of risk events; receive input from the user with an estimated monetary value of at least one of the and compute the monetary amounts of all the objectives.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system and a method for the risk management through ratio scale measures. The present invention identifies the risk of occurrence of events, develops ratio scale measures for impact of events and likelihood of events and deriving the risk of the events by multiplying the ratio scale measures for impacts with the ratio scale measures for likelihoods of the identified risk events. The ratio scale measures for impact of risk events is the sum-product of the ratio scale measures of the importance of the objectives and ratio scale measures of the impact of associated risk events on the objectives. The ratio scale measures for likelihoods of risk events is the sum-product of the probabilities of the identified causes times the probability of the risk events given the identified causes.

The transfer maps and transports data between applications. The first application includes a data structure with a data structure identifier and a table. The second application includes a data grid. The mapping of data is performed by: associating a column in the grid to a table data field; associating a mapping icon with the column; and associating the table identifier with the column. The transporting of data between the applications include: identifying a transport function; identifying at least one of the mapping; and transporting data according to the selected mapping and the selected transport function.
