    Abstract: A wireless condition monitor includes a sensor device and a transceiver device for detecting and indicating conditions of an industrial battery. The sensor device includes a sensing element configured to detect a condition of the industrial battery and a wireless transmitter configured to wirelessly transmit a signal indicative of the condition. The transceiver device is in communication with the sensor device and includes a signal indicator configured to indicate receipt of the signal from the sensor device. The sensor device can be removably coupled to an inspection port or sensor-specific mounting of the industrial battery, or permanently disposed within a chamber of the industrial battery.
