    Abstract: Well and exploratory drilling apparatus whose rotary motion is modified by a vibrator to provide lateral movement of its bit. There is also disclosed a universal movement which enables such action to occur in a steerable assembly, while providing a passage for a conduit to supply motive fluid to the vibrator, and isolating the drill rod from at least some of the vibrating forces.
