  • Patent number: 6161812
Abstract: A resilient clamp comprises a body forming in one single piece an upper arm and a lower arm connected to each other at one side by a springing curved end portion and provided at the other side with an anchoring element and an anchoring member, respectively, which are mutually releasably snap engageable. The upper arm has a manoeuvre portion superelevated with respect to the anchoring element. Further structural features of the body afford reducing the closing effort and minimizing any risks of unintentional opening of the clamp.

  • Patent number: 5855230
Abstract: A Luer-Lock fitting comprising a tubular body having at one end an outer Luer cone connector coaxially surrounded by an innerly threaded attachment cup-like element, and a detachable cap sealingly fitted axially over the Luer cone connector. The cap is formed by a tubular member interposed between the Luer cone connector and the attachment element, which carries a transverse filtering barrier and whose inner end is forcedly coupled onto the outer surface of the Luer cone connector, in proximity of the bottom of the attachment element, so as to define along a substantial portion of the outer surface of the Luer cone connector an annular interspace, opening towards the filtering barrier.

  • Patent number: 5749861
Abstract: A connector for medical infusion/transfusion lines, catheters and the like, comprising a tubular body with a protection valve including an obturator formed by a resilient disk having a circumferential sealing edge normally co-operating under closing contact with an annular valve seat having a conical surface. On the side opposite to the annular valve seat, the obturator disk bears against an annular reaction surface of the body, and opening of the protection valve is operated by axial displacement of a tubular push member acting so as to press the central area of the obturator disk into the annular reaction surface thus elastically stretching it in the axial direction, whereby the circumferential sealing edge of the obturator disk radially retracts, moving away from the annular valve seat. • Patent number: 5611576
Abstract: A female coupling element of the Luer-Lock type for haemodialysis medical equipment comprises an outer tubular body made of a relatively rigid moulded thermoplastic material, and an inner sleeve made of a relatively softer moulded thermoplastic material and axially fitted within the outer body. The outer body and the inner sleeve are freely rotatable relative to each other.

  • Patent number: 5603792
Abstract: Transducer-protector device for biomedical haemodialysis lines includes a body of moulded plastic material having a first tubular connector of the female Luer Lock type with a conical inner surface and an outer threading and a second tubular connector. The connectors are provided with respective first and second radial flanges for their mutual permanent sealed connection and between which a filtering membrane of permeable material is interposed. The female Luer Lock connector with the respective outer threading is entirely formed of a material having higher elasticity than the material of the second tubular connector and is fixedly coupled to the respective radial flange by overmoulding.
