  • Patent number: 9783117
Abstract: A vehicle cargo system includes a support fixed to a roof of the cargo system. The support has a first edge and a second edge. The vehicle cargo system further includes a plurality of protrusions intermittently disposed laterally across the support. The plurality of protrusions is rotatable about the first edge from a vertical to a horizontal position wherein rotating the hooks about the first edge toward the roof attaches the hooks to the second edge of the support. The protrusions allow the vehicle cargo system to support objects capable of being hung.

  • Patent number: 8877752
Abstract: Provided are 4(1H)-quinolone derivatives effective in inhibiting or eliminating the viability of at least one of the stages in the life-cycle of the malarial parasite, and to show a reduced propensity to induce resistance to the compound by the target parasite. In particular, the compounds can be derivatives of phenoxyethoxy-quinolones, and including, but not only, 7-(2-phenoxyethoxy)quinolin derivatives. These compounds may be administered by themselves, with at least one other derivative compound, or with other antimalarial compounds, to an animal or human subject. The therapeutic compositions can be and formulated to reduce the extent of a Plasmodium infection in the recipient subject, or to reduce the likelihood of the onset or establishment of a Plasmodium infection if administered prior to the parasite contacting the subject. The therapeutic compositions can be formulated to provide an effective single dose amount of an antimalarial compound or multiple doses for administering over a period of time.

  • Patent number: 6811122
Abstract: Flame arrestor to cover aircraft engines made up of one ventilation wire grid (6), one upper metallic plate (9) where wire grid sits (6) on the edges of a circular hole (10) and a wall (25) which is located next to a chamfer (26) placed at the edge of a central hole (5) existing in the platform (3). On the lower side of the thin composite wall (25) there is a flange cylinder formed by a disc (15) a cylindrical ring (14) coinciding in height with the chamfer (26), creating an interior cavity (27) where gases are conducted and accumulated. All these elements are joined together by some bolts (22) that go through them and finish with a lower metallic plate (12) and an octagonal shaped part (19) separated by a specific distance established by the appropriate elements like bushing or spacer.
