This lever-type cam follower (1) is characterized by being made of a cold-forming, core-hardening heat-treatable steel.

In the region of transition piece (2), compressed air, which has been introduced, flows out, to creates an air cushion (15) between the flexible tube-shaped piece (14) and the tube support (3) onto which the flexible tube-shaped piece (14) is shifted.
