The whip section (A) is provided with a rib-groove system (2) within the impact zone or effective zone. The connecting region (C) between the whip section (A) and the head section (B) is designed such that a large adhesion area (3) is provided, especially by forming a wedge. The head section (B) is additionally provided with a recess (4) that has a substantially tubular configuration for accommodating a bushing (5).

Abstract: The invention relates to a hair removal paddle (1), comprising a base body (2) made of polymer material, as well as metallic additional components (e.g. scrapers 4, 5) as part of a slaughtering line, particularly for slaughtering pigs, whereby the polymer material is, in particular, a vulcanized rubber mixture, comprising a rubber component as well as mixture ingredients, whereby according to the invention, an active inhibitor is mixed into the polymer material, which prevents the growth of microorganisms. In connection with microbe resistance, advantageous rubber components are also presented.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device as part of a slaughtering line, especially for slaughtering hogs, consisting of a depilation beater (1) made of elastomaric material and having a baffle stool (3); a screw-on zone made of metal; a stop, against which the depilation beater supports itself via the baffle stool (3) at extreme deformation; as well as of angle-shaped scrapers made of metal, the latter being arranged on the working side of the depilation beater. The essence of the invention consists in that at least one fluted groove (23, 24, 25, 26) extending in the transverse direction is present within the zone of the beginning (4) of the baffle stool.
