Abstract: A self-inking hand stamp comprising a frame made of metal and having two side walls which are interconnected by an upper cover wall, and further comprising an actuating bow made of metal which, when used, is downwardly movable relative to the frame against a spring force. The actuating bow has two legs which are displaceable along the side walls of the frame; said legs are coupled to a type unit that is displaceable and turnable within the frame; resting projections are provided in the upper region of the frame for an insertable ink pad holder, said resting projections protruding inwards from the inner side of the side walls of the frame; the resting projections are provided on carrying members provided on the outer sides of the side walls and extend through openings in the side walls.

Abstract: In order to prepare the final assembly of stamps which have a rest position, in which a stamp housing projects from an actuating yoke, and an operating position, in which the actuating yoke is moved against the force of a spring over the stamp housing and is lockable, as well as for the final assembly of the stamps by applying a stamp plate to a plate holder, several stamps are packed in a carton-like package (20) in at least one row in parallel to each other; the packaging (20) is closed with a covering (26) and the stamps are held in this way in the closed position; after opening of the packaging (20) prepared text plates (6) are adhered to plate holders (5) of the stamps (1).

The stamp has a housing and a stamping unit which is connected to an actuating element, movably arranged in the housing and provided with stamping characters. The ink pad container has a bottom and side walls projecting away therefrom. In use, horizontally arranged recesses are provided along a length of two lateral opposite side walls of the ink pad container and cooperate with continuous guiding and centering projections in an insertion compartment of the self-inking stamp to define precise guiding and centering of the ink pad container during its insertion.

The housing has an insertion compartment having at least one insertion opening for an ink cushion container. The insertion compartment has, on the lower side facing the stamp unit, an opening for dyeing the stamp types in the upper turned position thereof, by placing them on the ink cushion in the container. At least one elastic retaining element for elastic placement on the ink cushion container is arranged in the insertion compartment.
