    Abstract: A flashlamp unit which comprises at least one row of percussion flashlamps disposed on an elongate base plate with striker springs which are locked in the prestressed condition. The unit also includes at least one elongate body extending and movable in the longitudinal direction of the base plate. The body has a plurality of projections, each cooperating with one striker spring for unlocking.
