  • Publication number: 20140012859
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for delivering content to users. In one embodiment, a computer system obtains text associated with a content item, where the text comprises: text from a transcript associated with a content item, when available; text from a web feed (e.g., an RSS feed, etc.) associated with the content item, when available; text from a webpage associated with the content item, when available; and text that is returned from a call to an application programming interface (API) of a provider of the content item, when available. The computer system then determines a set of entities based on the obtained text.

  • Patent number: 4374935
Abstract: The invention concerns a process for the preparation of flexible polyurethane foams having good hydrolytic stability, improved damping, with equal or higher levels of other physical properties and with a high absorption capacity. The foams are prepared by reacting organic polyisocyanates and mixtures of(a) liquid polyester polyols, which are produced by the polycondensation of organic dicarboxcylic acid and a polyol mixture which contains 1,4-butanediol, 1,5-pentanediol, 1,6-hexanediol, and at least one triol, and(b) di- to tetra-functional polyether polyols having molecular weights of 1500 to 6000in the presence of catalysts and blowing agents as well as optionally chain extenders, auxiliaries, and additives.

  • Patent number: 4293657
Abstract: Stable melamine-polyoxyalkylene polyether polyol dispersions are prepared by the in situ reduction of melamine particles wherein 90 percent of the melamine particles have a particle size of less than 10 microns. Stabilizers for the melamine-polyol dispersion are selected from the group consisting of(a) silicic acids and silicates,(b) salts of perfluorinated alkyl carboxylic acids having 4 to 20 carbon atoms, salts of alkyl sulfonic acids and perfluorinated alkylsulfonic acids having 4 to 20 carbon atoms and polyperfluoroether polyols having molecular weights of 300 to 6000, and(c) salts of fatty alcohol sulfates having 6 to 30 carbon atoms. These dispersions are useful for the preparation of polyurethane foams.

  • Patent number: 4256841
Abstract: To prepare light-stable polyurethane integral skin foams, especially soft integral foams, aliphatic and/or cycloaliphatic polyisocyanates, both categories preferably containing urethane groups and/or biuret groups, are reacted with polyols in the presence of blowing agents and of a synergistic catalyst combination comprising an alkali metal hydroxide, alkali metal alcoholate, alkali metal phenolate, alkali metal salt of a weak acid and/or hexahydrotriazine derivative and an organic tin, zinc and/or iron(II) compound, in the presence or absence of assistants and adjuvants. The preferred catalyst combination is tri-(dimethylaminopropyl)-s-hexahydrotriazine and dibutyl-tin dilaurate.

  • Patent number: 4251639
Abstract: This invention concerns a process for the manufacture of flexible polyurethane foams from urethane-modified aromatic polyisocyanates having an NCO content of 15 to 30 percent by weight and a viscosity of 100 to 2000 centipoises at 20.degree. C., which are obtained by reaction of a mixture of diphenylmethane diisocyanates and polyphenylene polymethylene polyisocyanates containing 55 to 85 percent by weight of diphenylmethane diisocyanate based on the total weight of the polyisocyanate mixture and a hydroxyl compound with 2 to 4 Zerewitinoff active hydrogen atoms and a molecular weight of 60 to 1500, in an equivalency ratio of NCO groups to active hydrogen atoms of the hydroxyl compound of 2:1 to 60:1, polyols, catalysts, blowing agents, and optionally, chain extenders, auxiliaries, and additives.

  • Patent number: 4049590
Abstract: Polyurethane compositions -- which may or may not be foamed -- having improved mechanical properties are manufactured from organic polyisocyanates, polyhydroxy compounds and one or more at least partially crosslinked, particulate polymers of particle size from 500 to 5,000 A, of which polymer from 1 to 40% by weight are dispersed in the polyhydroxy compound.
