  • Patent number: 11123854
Abstract: A handheld power tool has a tool socket (2) to hold a tool (4) along a working axis (11), a motor (5) and a slip clutch (21) having a number of blocking elements. A sensor (27) serves to record a measured signal (28) as the measure of vibrations inside the handheld power tool (1). A band-pass filter (29) has a pass range in which a frequency lies that is equal to the product of the rotational speed of the wheel (22) on the drive side and the number N of blocking elements (24). • Patent number: 10414036
Abstract: The control method for a hammer drill (1) provides the following steps. During basic operation, the motor (5) rotates at an operating speed for the drilling operation with chiseling action in order to rotationally drive the tool holder (2) and to drive the hammer mechanism (6) with a nominal striking power. The torque coupling (21) is monitored with the aid of a sensor (26). If a disengagement of the torque coupling (21) occurs, the striking power of the hammer mechanism (6) is reduced to below 10% of the nominal striking power during a disengagement of the torque coupling (21), and the torque coupling (21) is driven. When the disengagement of the torque coupling (21) ends, the striking power of the hammer mechanism (6) is increased to the nominal striking power and the torque coupling (21) is driven at the operating speed for the drilling operation with chiseling action.

Abstract: A hand-held power tool, in particular a hammer drill or a combined hammer, includes a safety coupling via which torque transmission between a motor shaft and a transmission shaft of the hand-held power tool can be established and interrupted. The safety coupling includes a coupling part at the input end and a coupling part at the output end and can be actuated by a coupling actuator. Mutually complementary catch profiles, in particular similar to a crown gear set, by which the coupling part at the input end and the coupling part at the output end can be interlocked, are arranged on the coupling part at the input end and on the coupling part at the output end.

  • Publication number: 20180043521
Abstract: A hand-held power tool (1) includes a tool holder (2) for holding a tool on a working axis (11) and a motor (5) for rotationally driving the tool holder (2) about the working axis (11). The motor (5) is situated in a power-tool housing (16) and a handle (9) is fastened on the power-tool housing (16) for guiding the hand-held power tool (1) during operation. A rotary motion sensor (15) detects a rotary motion of the power-tool housing (16) about the working axis (11). A monitor (19) ascertains a holding force based on an amplitude of the rotary motion in a frequency range between 0.4 Hz and 4 Hz. A safety device (13) reduces a torque output to the tool holder (2) when the detected rotary motion exceeds a limiting value, the limiting value being set as a function of the holding force.
