  • Patent number: 6810746
Abstract: A sensor arrangement has a housing, a pressure detector having a measuring diaphragm which is deflectable by a pressurized measurement medium, a sensor circuit attached directly to the measuring diaphragm, an electronic evaluation circuit connected to the sensor circuit and formed as a hybrid circuit, a connector contacted by an element selected from the group consisting of the sensor circuit, the evaluation circuit and both, the hybrid circuit being fastened directly to the measuring diaphragm by a conductive glue which produces electrical connections between the hybrid circuit and the sensor circuit fastened to the measuring diaphragm and produces a ground connection to the housing.

  • Publication number: 20030233881
Abstract: The invention relates to a sensor arrangement with a pressure detector (6) that has a measuring diaphragm, which can be deflected by the pressurized measurement medium. A measuring bridge is provided as a sensor circuit, which is attached directly to the measuring diaphragm. An evaluation circuit is embodied as a hybrid circuit (8) and can be fastened directly to the measuring diaphragm, producing electrical connections (9, 10) between the hybrid circuit (8) and the sensor circuit and a ground connection to the housing (2, 3) of the sensor arrangement (1). The housing (2, 3, 4) of the sensor arrangement (1) is embodied as multi-part and the contacting of the connections of the hybrid circuit (8) with connector pins (11) of the connector (4) can be produced, for example, by means of pressure contacts (12, 13; 23).

  • Patent number: 6490932
Abstract: A method of producing a number of pressure sensors includes joining a plurality of support bodies to a metal component, the metal component forming a diaphragm, applying a thin-film coating to produce the sensor elements, and finally dividing the metal component provided with the thin-film coating and the support bodies into a plurality of pressure sensors, each having a single one of the support bodies so that the number of pressure sensors formed corresponds to the plurality of the support bodies.

  • Patent number: 6272913
Abstract: An apparatus for detecting the pressure and temperature in the intake tube of an internal combustion engine. A temperature sensor and a pressure sensor are secured to a carrier together with an evaluation circuit in a common housing with as little strain as possible. The housing includes at least two chambers separate from one another, one of which forms a pressure chamber that communicates with the intake tube via a stub and is sealed off from the environment in which the pressure sensor is secured. The other chamber serves to secure the temperature sensor therein by use of connection elements, and sealing adhesive connections that decouple mechanical strains for securing the carrier and sealing off the pressure sensor.

  • Patent number: 6212946
Abstract: A device for detecting the pressure and the temperature in the intake tube of an internal combustion engine, including a temperature sensor, a pressure sensor and a substrate each of which are secured in a housing with as little stress as possible with the pressure sensor secured on a substrate together with an evaluation circuit. The temperature sensor measures precise temperature measurement. In order to introduce a fluid medium that is under pressure, a neck part is secured to the housing and an adapter is joined both to the substrate and to the neck part via adhesive seals that decouple mechanical stress from the pressure and temperature detectors.

  • Patent number: 4895020
Abstract: In known air flow rate meters, the initial tension of a spiral spring, which generates the restoring force on the baffle valve, is adjusted by the snapping of a locking spring into gaps between the teeth of a tooth ring provided on the spring housing. However, the tooth spacing cannot be made arbitrarily small. Accordingly, a way to enable finer adjustment of the initial tension is needed, so that a measurement can be made even at low idling speeds and with a small aspirated air quantity. In the air flow rate member according to the invention, the locking spring engages a detent element, which facing the toothed ring has an inside serration, the spacing of the teeth of which is less than the spacing of the toothed ring; when the spring housing rotates, detent increments that correspond to the spacing of the inside serration are attainable. Quite generally, the embodiment according to the invention enables sensitive adjustment and locking of a spiral spring serving as a restoring force.
