When a transmitting terminal attempts to transmit information to a receiving terminal that does not possess an application required for receiving the information, the transmitting terminal provides the receiving terminal with information as to where the application can be found. The receiving terminal is then able to automatically obtain the application and related information from this location for subsequent installation.
