  • Publication number: 20150037754
Abstract: A dental retraction cord is used within dental procedures as the dental retraction cord is impregnated with at least one dental anesthetic agent and/or a vasoconstrictor agent so that the dental retraction cord is able to reduce the pain and discomfort during the cord packing process. A plurality of interlocking strands of the dental retraction cord is impregnated with the at least one dental anesthetic agent and/or the vasoconstrictor agent as the dental retraction cord is stored within a container. The at least one dental anesthetic agent and/or the vasoconstrictor agent are activated upon contact with liquid in order to create additional numbness and to reduce loss of blood during the dental procedures.

  • Publication number: 20150033482
Abstract: An interdental brush with antiseptic dental solution includes a storage pod, an elongated handle, an internal flow system, and a plurality of brush sets. The plurality of brush sets is connected around the elongated handle as the elongated handle is in fluid communication with the storage pod through the internal flow system. The antiseptic dental solution that is stored within the storage pod dispenses into the plurality of brush sets through the internal flow system upon user's discretion so that the brushing process of the interdental brush between the teeth is physically able to dislodge plaque biofilm and food.

  • Publication number: 20140360894
Abstract: A carpule to store lower dosage amount of dental anesthetic solution includes a tubular extrusion, a stopper, a front cap, and a color-coded band. The front cap is connected with a front opening of the tubular extrusion while the stopper is slidably engaged with a rear opening of the tubular extrusion. An inner diaphragm of the front cap is exposed through a central opening of the front cap so that the dental needle can be traversed into the tubular extrusion through the inner diaphragm. Additionally, the cross-sectional diameter of the central opening is similar to the cross-sectional diameter of the front opening so that the front cap is able to provide an expanded surface area for the dental needle to traverse through.
