  • Patent number: 6769564
Abstract: A breech for a dual-component cartridge with a breech plug with two sealing bolts which can be inserted into the two mutually separated outlet openings at the cartridge throat and seal these openings tightly, and with a retaining nut that can be screwed onto the cartridge throat. This nut can turn relative to the breech plug and can be locked to it in an axial direction and released therefrom. In order that the breech plug will be held by the retaining nut without additional parts and so that it can again be easily separated from it, between the retaining nut and the breech plug a manual-detachable snap-in connection is formed by the relative movement of the breech plug in the axial direction.

  • Patent number: 6520381
Abstract: The invention relates to an ejection device for a cartridge which comprises two chambers (1, 2) arranged concentrically to one another. Each chamber (1, 2) is provided with a piston (4, 5). The ejection device also comprises ejection rods which can be shifted in the direction of the outlet (3) of the cartridge. A cap (6) is provided which can be axially locked with the cartridge. The ejection rods are guided through said cap (6). The external ends of the ejection rods for the annular piston (5) are connected to one another via a cover plate (11). A threaded spindle (9) is supported at the cover plate (11). Said threaded spindle (9) extends through a threaded tapped hole (8) of the cap (6) and serves as an ejection rod for the middle piston (4).

  • Patent number: 6494348
Abstract: The invention relates to a cartridge piston made of a material which is sensitive to the contents of the cartridge, comprising a covering disk which is made of a material which is not sensitive to the contents of the cartridge and arranged on the surface of the piston, having a structure which is adapted to one of the cross-sectional profiles of the surface of said piston. The area of the piston facing the wall of the cartridge is embodied as a V-shaped cross-sectional annular groove forming a sealing lip on the edge thereof. In order to protect the piston from the effects of the contents of the cartridge and to guarantee the sealing function of the piston even when the cartridge is curved, the outer diameter of the covering disk is smaller than the edge of the piston which forms the sealing lip and the edge of the covering disk is sealingly connected to the surface of the piston.

  • Publication number: 20020153391
Abstract: The invention relates to a cartridge piston (1, 1A) made of a material which is sensitive to the contents of the cartridge, comprising a covering disk (9, 9A) which is made of a material which is not sensitive to the contents of the cartridge and arranged on the surface (5) of the piston, having a structure which is adapted to one of the cross-sectional profiles (5) of the surface of said piston. The area of the piston (1, 1A) facing the wall of the cartridge is embodied as a V-shaped cross-sectional annular groove (2) forming a sealing lip on the edge thereof. In order to protect the piston from the effects of the contents of the cartridge and to guarantee the sealing function of the piston even when the cartridge is curved, the outer diameter of the covering disk (9, 9A) is smaller than the edge of the piston (1, 1A) which forms the sealing lip (3) and the edge of the covering disk (9, 9A) is sealingly connected to the surface (5) of the piston.

  • Patent number: 5713155
Abstract: A grid plate for stabilizing natural ground comprises a base and side walls formed in one piece with the base which form chambers open to the top being in the form of regular polygons, the base having water outlets, the chambers being in the form of sectional chambers which are laterally open on their periphery which form closed chambers with laterally open sectional chambers of adjacent grid plates complementary thereto when two similar grid plates are assembled and the ends of side walls of both grid plates forming the sectional chambers come into contact, the side walls having flattenings in the regions of contact, the flattenings of complementary chambers lying flat on one another when two similar grid plates are joined together.

  • Patent number: 5689912
Abstract: Honeycomb lawn plates for seeding surfaces have honeycombed chambers open at the top and hexagonal in cross-section. So that peripheral chamber walls do not really contact one another, peripherally open chambers are provided on the plate edges, the cross-section of which is less than the cross-section of the hexagonal chambers. So that stable plate edges are obtained, the cross-section of the peripherally open chambers is, at maximum, half as large as the cross-section of the hexagonal chambers. In addition, peripherally closed chambers are located between the peripherally open chambers. On opposite plate edges, the change from peripherally open chambers to peripherally closed chambers alternates, as a result of which the peripherally open chambers are sealed by the peripheral chamber walls of the peripherally closed chambers of the adjacent plate.
