  • Patent number: 11567531
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods that ensures that an ultrasonic fingerprint detection process is not interfered with by using a screen protector. An example screen protector for a mobile device is disclosed that is capable of an in-screen fingerprint detection. The screen protector includes a first layer made of a clear rigid material and configured to be touched by a user. The screen protector also includes a second layer beneath the first layer and made of a film. • Patent number: 8953271
Abstract: A disk drive is disclosed comprising a head actuated over a disk comprising a plurality of servo tracks, wherein each servo track comprises a plurality of servo sectors. A plurality of zones are defined, wherein each zone comprises a plurality of the servo tracks. A metric is generated for each zone, and when the metric for a first zone exceeds a first threshold, feedback compensation values for at least two servo tracks are generated, wherein the feedback compensation values compensate for a written-in error of the servo sectors of each servo track. When the metric for a second zone does not exceed the first threshold, generating feedback compensation values for the second zone is skipped.

  • Publication number: 20140151385
Abstract: A sleeve for use with hot or cold beverage cups. The sleeve is composed of three layers. The inner layer or lining is water-absorbent. This prevents condensation from dripping onto the table. The outer layer is made of a non-woven synthetic fabric for purposes of keeping the hand dry. The inner and outer layers are adhered together with a polyethylene film, which is not visible after fabrication. The two ends of the sleeve may be glued or hot-melted together. The sleeve is extremely lightweight, thin, inexpensive, and disposable.

  • Patent number: 7576941
Abstract: A disk drive is disclosed comprising a plurality of servo sectors that define a plurality of tracks, and a head comprising a read element radially offset from a write element. The read element is positioned over a first track, and the first track is read to generate first read wedge repeatable runout (WRRO) values. A first seek operation of the head positions the read element over a second track, and the second track is read to generate first write WRRO values. The first write WRRO values are used to write the first read WRRO values to the first track. A second seek operation of the head positions the read element over a third track, and the third track is read to generate second write WRRO values. The second write WRRO values are used to write the first write WRRO values to the second track.
