    Abstract: A ground handling wheel assembly for coupling to a skid of a helicopter enables the helicopter to be moved on the ground. The wheel assembly has a main shaft, which has on each end a wheel shaft offset from and parallel with the main shaft. Wheels are rotatably mounted to each wheel shaft. A breakover bar locates within a hole in the wheel assembly to rotate the main shaft, and thereby the wheel shafts in a circular path, lifting the skid from the ground.
