Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining presence of an object to be tidied in a washroom. A beam is supplied to a surface of the washroom at a first location. A reflected beam received from the surface of the washroom or received from an object in the path of the beam to the surface is detected. The presence of the object is determined from feedback from the beam based on a comparison of the feedback with a detection result when the beam reflects from the surface at the first location. An object to be tidied output signal is issued indicating that an object to be tidied is present based on the determination on the presence of an object.

Abstract: Disclosed is a wipe dispenser for dispensing a continuous roll of centrally fed wipes. The dispenser includes a storage compartment for storing the roll of wipes. The storage compartment is made from a bottom wall, at least one side wall and a top wall including a dispensing opening. The dispenser includes a lid hingeably attached to the storage compartment. The lid includes a first inner cavity defined by a first inner surface. A maximum distance from the dispensing opening to the first inner surface is within a range that allows for an easy to grab portion of the wipe to stand essentially erect from the dispensing opening inside the lid when the lid is closed.

The bonding pattern includes bonding elements arranged along a first set of bonding lines extending from one of the first parallel edges to the other of first parallel edges in a first direction at a first angle to the first direction and along a second set of bonding lines extending from the one of first parallel edges to the other of first parallel edges in a second direction at a second angle to the first direction, the first set of bonding lines intersecting with the second set and forming an intermeshing network of bonding lines.

Abstract: A method for producing a multi-ply web including at least three plies of flexible material, such as paper and nonwoven material, by means of gluing the plies. The method includes the steps of embossing first and second webs of flexible material separately between a respective embossing roll and a respective impression roll; applying glue to one side of each of the embossed first and second webs; feeding the first and second webs and a third web separately into a laminating nip. The third web is between the first and second webs, and the glue is applied to sides of the first and second webs facing the third web so that the first, second and third webs are combined in a single step. The laminating nip is formed between the first embossing roll and a laminating roll.
