Abstract: Systems and methods are described that include operations such as detecting a plurality of computing devices configured as a distributed ambient computing system, receiving a request to execute a computing task, obtaining, from the distributed ambient computing system, data representing a device context for at least two of the plurality of devices, generating a combined context corresponding to the distributed ambient computing system, the combined context representing a combination of the device context for the at least two devices, generating and providing at least one decision request based on the computing task and the combined context, receiving a response to the at least one decision request, and triggering execution of the computing task based on the response and the combined context.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described distributed ambient computing. A method may include detecting, by a computing device associated with a user environment, a plurality of additional devices associated with the user environment, determining, for the plurality of additional devices, a plurality of capabilities associated with the plurality of additional devices, and configuring, by the computing device, the plurality of additional devices as a distributed computing system. The method may further include receiving, at the computing device, a request to execute a task, selecting at least one of the plurality of additional devices determined to be capable of executing the task, and triggering the selected device to execute the task.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for receiving data corresponding to a contact by a user detected at a touch-sensitive device. Variations in the contact over time are analyzed, and an anchor confidence score that is indicative of whether the contact represents a user input made using the touch-sensitive device is determined based at least on the analysis of the variations in the contact over time. The contact is classified as an anchor based at least on the anchor confidence score. Based on classifying the contact as an anchor, the contact is not processed as a user input to the touch-sensitive device.
