Abstract: Method and system to provide users with access to authoritative sets of various collectable items and to permit users create and manage their own sets based on the respective authoritative sets are described. An authoritative set may be a collection of images representing collectable items. Access to an authoritative set may be provided via a web site that facilitates a community space where users can compare their collected sets to the authoritative set and determine what products may be missing for their user's set.

Abstract: A disclosed example embodiment includes a drill bit used to form wellbores in subterranean formations. The drill bit includes a drill bit body for coupling to a lower end of a drill string. The drill bit body includes at least one support arm having an inwardly extending journal with a journal bearing having at least one radially reduced pocket extending at least partially circumferentially around the journal bearing including a load side of the journal bearing. At least one rotary cutter assembly is rotatably mounted to the journal. A plurality of cutting elements is disposed on the at least one rotary cutter assembly. At least two independent hardmetal pads are positioned within the at least one radially reduced pocket such that the hardmetal pads have a gap disposed therebetween.

Abstract: Systems and methods of providing composite search results are disclosed. A system may receive input via a user interface of a device accessing a first website, and determine item listing information of an item listed for sale on a second website based on the received input, with the second website being different from the first website. The system may cause the item listing information to be displayed on the first website on the device via the user interface, and enable the device to interact with the second website, via the user interface, regarding the item listed for sale by interacting with the item listing information being displayed on the first website.

Abstract: A flow control system including a mandrel having one or more ports; one or more seals in sealing contact with the mandrel; a housing positioned about the mandrel and one or more seals and in sealing contact with the one or more seals. One or more diffusers placed in a fluid pathway of the flow control system. The one or more diffusers including an inner race having a bearing surface; an outer race having a bearing surface; an axially oriented wedge in contact with both the inner race and the outer race and configured to increase distance between the inner race bearing surface. The outer race bearing surface with wedge movement in one direction while permitting distance between the inner race bearing surface and the outer race bearing surface to decrease with wedge movement in an opposite direction.

Abstract: Systems and methods of providing composite search results are disclosed. A search query may be received by a general purpose search engine of a first website from a user. At least one general purpose search result may be determined based on the search query using the general purpose search engine. The at least one general purpose search result may be based on a search of multiple websites. Item listing information of an item listed for sale on a second website may be determined based on the search query. The at least one general purpose search result and the item listing information may be caused to be displayed concurrently on the first website to the user. The user may be enabled to interact with the second website regarding the item by interacting with the item listing information displayed on the first website.

Abstract: Methods, computer-storage media, and graphical user interfaces are provided for identifying and presenting rich related sites for task-oriented search queries. Upon receipt of a search query input by a user, one or more query logs are analyzed to determine if the search query is a related to a task being performed by the user. If the query is determined to be a task-oriented search query, search results are identified, as is one or more Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) related to a particular search result. The related URL is presented to the user in association with the particular search result. Additional controls, e.g., search tools that facilitate querying of those URLs determined to be relevant to a particular search result, may also be provided to aid the user in performing the task at hand.

Abstract: A light-emitting system is provided which is removably attachable to headgear for personal illumination to enhance visibility of the user to others. The light-emitting system includes a housing that defines a receiving aperture and is configured to surround a portion of the headgear when the light-emitting system is removably attached to the headgear for use. The light-emitting system further includes at least one lens and a plurality of lighting elements coupled to the annular housing which are configured to selectively generate a halo or at least a partial halo of light that radiates outwardly away from the annular housing through the at least one lens to provide enhanced personal illumination.

Abstract: A system and method allows the operation of a remotely located tool in an application where there is a telescoping space out joint in such a manner that the hanger need not be released. A hydraulic piston is surface actuated to move gripping teeth against the pipe and then take the pipe with the gripping teeth so that a tool that is engaged by the string can be remotely operated while safety features for the well can remain operative. The shifted position is held with maintained control line pressure. Some release of the control line pressure will not allow the operating piston to return. Rather, a check valve holds the shifted piston position until a differential pressure on the check valve drops to a predetermined value so that the check valve acts as a dump valve. The system operates off annulus pressure if the control line is damaged.

Abstract: Various devices for providing foot controlled computing device inputs are discussed herein. Some embodiments may include a rolling foot controller including a housing, one or more motion sensors disposed within the housing, and processing circuitry. The housing may include an upper portion configured to interface with one or more feet, and a lower portion configured to facilitate motion of the rolling foot controller when disposed on a ground surface. The processing circuitry may be configured to receive the motion data generated by the one or more motion sensors, and provide the motion data to a computing device, especially with regards to rotation in the pitch, yaw, and roll directions. The upper portion is generally of convex shape, curved about one or more axes, and the lower portion is generally convex as well, curved about two or more axes.

Abstract: A system and method of metadata refinement using behavioral patterns is disclosed. In some embodiments, user behavioral data for results of a search query is received. The results can include an untagged item and a plurality of tagged items. A determination can then be made that the tagged items have been assigned a first type of metadata not assigned to the untagged item. The untagged item can then be identified as a candidate to be tagged with the first type of metadata assigned to the tagged items based on the user behavioral data. In some embodiments, the user behavioral data comprises clickstream data indicating that a user selected the untagged item and the tagged items during a single search event.

Abstract: A user interface is provided which presents a text box representing an area in which a user can enter a proxy bid for an online auction, the text box being presented within a button operable by the user to activate the proxy bid. Then input is received from the user in the text box presented within the button. The input is then placed as a bid in the online auction upon receiving a selection of the button, the selection being indicated by an activation of the button outside the area represented by the text box.

Abstract: A system and method of providing advertisements based on autocomplete functionality are disclosed. In some embodiments, user-entered text is received in a search field of a search engine. A predicted query is determined based on the user-entered text. The predicted query comprises predicted text and at least a portion of the user-entered text, the predicted text being absent from the user-entered text. An advertisement for an item is determined based on the predicted query. The advertisement is caused to be displayed to the user concurrently with the predicted query being displayed in an autocomplete user interface element of the search field. In some embodiments, the advertisement for the item comprises an identification of the item and a price of the item.

The client device, in response to the user selection of the respective bookmark, transmits to a server a request specified by the respective bookmark, and receives in response to the request a redirect to a network location associated with the document. The downloaded document corresponds to a content feed to which the user has subscribed.

Abstract: Computer-readable media and computerized methods for identifying candidate points on a graphical depiction of relative popularity of an entity (e.g., entertainer, sports team, and the like) are provided. Points on the graphical depiction are ranked based on a number of user-submitted web queries that reference the entity that are received during a particular time frame. Peak points and slope values (i.e., derived from an angle of inclination of inclines on the graphical depiction) may be captured by analyzing movements in the rank of an entity over time. An algorithmic process may then be applied to the peak points and slope values to determine points of interest of the entity's popularity, such as the highest-ranked periods and/or dramatic positive movements in rank of the entity. These points of interest are selected as candidate points and are surfaced as icons on a visual representation of the graphical depiction.
