  • Patent number: 10408829
Abstract: The invention relates to diagnostics, namely to a reagent kit, a rapid method and a device for detecting the fact of chronic, ischemia-linked brain pathology. A special feature of the invention is the use of an immunoactive hybrid peptide produced as a product of two fragments of the NMDA neuroreceptor subunits. A device is described that allows quick and convenient testing of autoantibodies in the patient's blood that recognize the hybrid peptide. The method of detection of autoantibodies is based on the principle of lateral flow immunochromatography. The invention can be used for prophylactic medical examination (screening of chronic ischemia-linked brain lesions), to detect decompensated chronic cerebral ischemia at the prehospital stage by general practitioners or neurologists, as well as in neurosurgery and sports medicine for diagnostics of delayed cerebral ischemia in persons with craniocerebral injury.

  • Patent number: 9919316
Abstract: A method of creating a zone of high-gradient magnetic field in a Kittel open domain structure is disclosed. The method is based on a magnetic system of an open domain structure type and is embodied in the form of two substantially rectangular constant magnets which are mated by the side faces thereof, whose magnetic field polarities are oppositely directed and the magnetic anisotropy is greater than the magnetic induction of the materials thereof. The magnets are mounted on a common base comprising a plate which is made of a non-retentive material and mates with the lower faces of the magnets, thin plates which are made of a non-retentive material, are placed on the top faces of the magnets and forms a gap arranged above the top edges of the magnets mated faces. A nonmagnetic substrate for separated material is located above the gap.

Abstract: A method and system for transparently processing a search query by displaying a search query interpretation or restatement inside a search box. Upon receiving a natural language input from a user, the method converts the natural language input to a search query interpretation of the natural language input. Then, the method displays the search query interpretation to the user inside a search box, executes a search based on the search query interpretation and displays a search result to the user. The system includes a user interface to receive a search query input from a user, a restatement engine to convert the search query input into a search query interpretation, a search box to display the search query interpretation to the user, and an execution engine to execute a search based on the search query interpretation and provide a search result for display to the user.

  • Patent number: 6107596
Abstract: A combustion chamber for a liquid-propellant rocket engine includes an injector head jointed to a combustion chamber casing having an exhaust head on a nozzle output. The casing is made of a steel jacket and a bronze-steel internal fire wall, which are joined with each other and contain shells connected in series. The exhaust head with shells of the casing, jointed to the exhaust head, are brazed using a solder on the basis of nickel, chromium and manganese. Parts of the injector head and other members of the combustion chamber casing are brazed using a copper-silver solder. Shells of the fire wall are connected by an electron-beam welding, directing an electron beam into axial gaps left while brazing between shells of the jacket. The shells of the jacket are then sequentially connected by an automatic gas-shielded arc welding through corresponding ring spacers.

  • Patent number: 5719370
Abstract: The electric-arc plasma-steam torch has a housing accommodating coaxially arranged therein a nozzle anode and a cathode made fast in a holder. The housing communicates, via a pipe connector filled with a porous heat-conducting material, with a container. The container is filled with a moisture absorbent material which encompasses a tube running therethrough and made of a heat-conducting material. The tube has a flange at its end facing the nozzle anode. The flange is provided with passages on its end surface facing the nozzle anode. The aforementioned cathode holder is accommodated in the tube and is electrically insulated therefrom. A sleeve made of a heat-conducting material is interposed between the nozzle anode and the tube flange. The sleeve has passages on its outside cylindrical surface and on the surface contacting the nozzle anode.

  • Patent number: 4099783
Abstract: The method for thermoshaft oil production comprises the provision of a combination of mining holes above an oil-bearing bed which are inclined at from 1.degree. to 3.degree. to the horizon. Then injection holes are drilled from these mining openings for feeding a heating medium into the bed. After that, a slope and a footway leading to the bottom part of the oil-bearing bed are constructed, and a production gallery is provided within the bottom part of the bed. Horizontal and ascending holes are drilled from the production gallery for oil production. A heating medium is fed into the injection holes for uniform distribution thereof over the entire volume of the oil-bearing bed and for displacement of oil into the horizontal and ascending production holes towards the production gallery wherefrom the oil is fed up to the surface.
