Abstract: A liquid separator for separating liquid out of a gas/liquid mixture, including an inlet, an outlet, a flow path connecting the inlet to the outlet and at least one separating device arranged in the flow path, the liquid separator being designed and embodied with simple structure and a compact construction to enable reliable separation of liquids in such a way that the separating device has a fabric portion for liquid separation through which the flow path passes, the fabric portion being arranged at an angle of 1° to 15° relative to the main flow direction in the separating device.

Abstract: The invention relates to a hollow body, in particular a pipe segment or a cylindrical body which contains gases or fluids or through which these can flow and comprises at least one opening in its wall surrounding the hollow space of the hollow body, the opening entering into a ring groove in the hollow body wall which extends around the entire outer periphery of the hollow body and over which opening a filter mesh strip located in this ring groove is spanned. In both side wall of this ring groove there are provided essentially opposing slot-shaped recesses extending annularly with the groove. The filter mesh strip is inserted into these recesses and held there by both its side edges.

Abstract: Tandem type vacuum brake boosters require a connection between their vacuum chambers. According to the present invention this connection is provided by the housing having crosspieces parallel to the longitudinal axis of the housing disposed about the periphery of the housing with channels formed between the crosspieces to enable the two vacuum chambers to communicate with each other.

Abstract: A two-way valve for a brake booster functions first to interrupt a vacuum connection between two chambers when displaced by an actuating rod and second to permit atmosphere to enter into one of the two chambers to provide the booster action. In such known arrangements there is a disadvantage that the brake actuation requires considerable lost brake pedal travel. According to the present invention this disadvantage is overcome by arranging a valve body coaxial of and axially displaced on the actuating rod and by coupling the actuating rod to the valve body by means of a travel-transmission arrangement which provides for a larger displacement travel of the valve body relative to the travel of the actuating rod.
