  • Patent number: 5441422
Abstract: The clamping slot produced by shearing, of the insulation piercing connecting device extends in a jagged shape. One of the two clamping legs is deformed at the end of its foot in such a way that its free end is shortened or lengthened. As a result, the clamping legs are offset with respect to one another in the region of the clamping slot and are partially constricted or widened. The pressed-in connecting wire is thus securely held in the clamping slot.

  • Patent number: 5033981
Abstract: A distributor strip has a service side provided with terminal elements for incoming lines that are to be frequently changed. The terminal elements for the outgoing lines that are to be seldom changed are arranged at the rear side of the distributor strip. The terminal elements are continued in contact pairs that terminate in separate contacts. The contacts are arranged near the rear side and can be separated by a respective pin of a separating plug inserted from the service side.

  • Patent number: 4647121
Abstract: A distributor strip has a plurality of chambers with each chamber having a pair of terminal posts for non-strip connection to electrical conductors. A portion of the grounding rail is provided in each chamber and an over-voltage arrestor may be mounted in each chamber between a contact spring connecting to each terminal post and the grounding rail portion. The contact springs include a bent free leg with a length chosen such that when the over-voltage arrestor together with an associated solder ring is inserted, a leading end of the free leg does not contact the grounding rail, but when the solder ring melts, the leading end comes into contact with the grounding rail.

  • Patent number: 4639820
Abstract: A protective element system includes a distributor strip and a protective element pluggable into the distributor strip. The distributor strip has a plurality of terminal posts for insulation stripping connection to electrical conductors. A plurality of upwardly open receptacle chambers are provided in an upper part of the distributor strip. In each chamber, a pair of contact springs are connected to respective terminal posts at outer sides of the respective receptacle chamber. A portion of a grounding rail projects into each of the receptacle chambers between respective contact springs in the associated chamber. The protective element includes a plug portion for insertion into one of the receptacle chambers of the distributor strip. An upwardly open receptacle chamber is provided in the protective element for accommodating a pair of surge arresters. Contact springs are positioned opposite one another at outer portions of the receptacle chamber. A grounding rail projects into the receptacle chamber.

  • Patent number: 4616288
Abstract: A surge voltage protection device for attachment to a main distribution frame having connection terminals disposed in a plurality of parallel rows and permitting non-stripped connection of electrical conductors. The device of the present invention can be built into the main distribution frame or can be added later, and includes fuse strips which contain arresters cooperating with connection terminals of the main distribution frame, the arrangement being such that the device can be applied at the front side or back side of the main distribution frame.

  • Patent number: 3954237
Abstract: A cable raceway for electric or communication lines, or the like, is described. The raceway is defined by sidewalls, which are freely projecting walls or pins, and a base member. A guiding member is provided for at least a portion of the raceways in a system of them. The guiding members extend over the others of the raceways to prevent lines from inadvertently being placed in them and to guide these lines into the portion of the raceways associated with the guiding members.

  • Patent number: 3945706
Abstract: A distribution frame for telecommunication exchanges or the like is described wherein the frame has a plurality of terminal elements forming an extended terminal board. The terminal elements are assigned to the lines coming in to and going out from the distribution frame, and they are arranged in rows and columns. Designation strips constructed from insulating plastic are attachable to areas of the terminal board along the rows and columns. When so attached, the strips project above the free ends of the terminal elements.
