  • Patent number: 12002469
Abstract: A system is provided for modifying how an output is presented via a multi-device synchronous configuration based on detecting a speech characteristic in the user input. For example, if the user whispers a request, then the system may temporarily modify how the responsive output is presented to the user via multiple devices. In one example, the system may lower the volume on all devices presented the output. In another example, the system may present the output via a single device rather than multiple devices. The system may also determine to operate in a alternate output mode based on certain non-audio data.

  • Publication number: 20240102370
Abstract: A technique facilitates stimulation of multiple well zones along a multilayered reservoir. The technique utilizes equipment constructed to enable performance of the stimulation job along the multiple well zones, i.e. two or more well zones, prior to gravel packing the multiple well zones. The equipment enables performance of the stimulation job during a single trip downhole. Subsequent actuation of the equipment further enables a multizone gravel packaging operation during the same trip downhole.

  • Publication number: 20240098938
Abstract: Techniques for a vapor chamber with less dead space are disclosed. In an illustrative embodiment, a vapor chamber is formed by folding a sheet and sealing the edges. The edges seal the vapor chamber but take up a relatively large amount of space without allowing for vapor to be transported in that space. The folded edge takes up less space, reducing the overall footprint of the vapor chamber. The vapor chamber with a smaller footprint can allow for, e.g., more space for motherboard area, more space for a battery, and/or a smaller form factor overall.

  • Patent number: 11929708
Abstract: Wire or cable holder assemblies employed in a solar power system are disclosed. In some embodiments, an assembly could include a cap and a base configured with channels. When the cap and the base are clamped to an object (e.g., a solar module frame), enclosures defined by the channels and a surface of the solar frame module are formed to hold cables. In some embodiments, an assembly could include a plunger with at least one leg and a base that includes a receptacle for receiving the plunger and a hook for holding electrical cables. A leg include a rack having teeth adapted to fall into notches or spaces formed by complementary teeth of a pawl found in the receptacle that forms a ratchet which permits insertion of the plunger into the receptacle but not an extraction. If extraction is desired, an external force may be applied to release the pawl.

  • Patent number: 11897237
Abstract: A chamber can be a pathogen control device, which can include a body having at least one internal wall defining an internal chamber, and a layer of a two dimensional material on at least a portion of the at least one internal wall. The two-dimensional material can have at least one edge protruding from the at least one internal wall. A pathogen control system can include the chamber and at least one pressure source operably coupled with an inlet of the internal chamber, and optionally include a depressurization vessel. A method of processing a fluid, such as for controlling pathogens, can include providing the chamber, and flowing a fluid with or without pressurized carbon dioxide or processing fluid through the internal chamber of the chamber to contact an edge of the two-dimensional material. • Publication number: 20240011399
Abstract: An airfoil includes a body, a cooling passage, a first cooling cavity, a second cooling cavity, a cooling conduit, and a connecting conduit. The body defines an interior and includes a tip rail with an exterior surface extending between a first surface, a second surface, and a third surface. The cooling passage is formed within the interior. The first cooling cavity and the second cooling cavity are spaced from each other within the tip rail. The cooling conduit fluidly couples the cooling passage with the first cooling cavity. The connecting conduit fluidly couples the first cooling cavity to the second cooling cavity.

  • Patent number: 11868969
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for managing a calendar application. A need to optimize a calendar is identified. Furthermore, a period of time to optimize the calendar is received or identified. All the scheduled events (e.g., scheduled meetings) in the calendar are then selected during that period of time. The attendees, topics and flags, if any, for each of the selected scheduled events during the period of time are extracted. Prior collaborations with the user involving the extracted attendees and/or topics of the selected scheduled events are identified. Collaboration data (e.g., participants/senders/attendees, topics) is then extracted from the identified prior collaborations. A list of actions (e.g., delegate scheduled event to another user) is generated to be performed on a selected scheduled event based on the extracted collaboration data. The generated list of actions to be performed on the selected scheduled event is then presented to the user.

  • Patent number: 11840988
Abstract: A rocket engine system including a coolant source containing a coolant fuel. The coolant source for providing the coolant fuel to a first surface of a wall partially defining a combustion chamber of a rocket engine, and the coolant fuel provides film cooling of the first surface of the wall. An oxidizer source for providing an oxidizer to a second surface of the wall. • Publication number: 20230393835
Abstract: Aspects and features include maintaining at least one auxiliary disk image on a computing device. Certain code that is aligned with the base operating system of the computing device resides in and is executed from the auxiliary disk image. In one example, a computing device receives an update asset and uses it to patch the auxiliary disk image. The computing device executes the updated code from the patched disk image without rebooting or otherwise restarting the base operating system. The existing auxiliary disk image may be replaced with the patched disk image in response to a reboot or some other event, or while executing the code in the patched disk image from memory.
