  • Publication number: 20210125822
Abstract: The disclosure provides a film surface treatment method and a film surface treatment device. By etching a surface of the film with hydrofluoric acid, substances on the surface of the film can be etched away; by cleaning the hydrofluoric acid on the surface, subjected to etching, of the film with a cleaning solution, residual hydrofluoric acid on the surface of the film can be removed, so that over etching to a film caused by the residual hydrofluoric acid can be avoided; and by oxidizing the surface, subjected to cleaning, of the film with ozone water, a compact and uniform oxide layer can be formed on the surface of the film. In this way, the effect of an ELA process can be improved.

  • Patent number: 8859828
Abstract: A process for converting a sugar, sugar alcohol, or glycerol to a valuable chemical is described. The process may use a support comprising zirconium oxide promoted by a polyacid or promoter material. A catalytically active metal may be impregnated on the polyacid-promoted zirconium oxide support and the catalyst may then be introduced the sugar, sugar alcohol, or glycerol a source of hydrogen under reaction conditions. At least 40 wt % of the sugar, sugar alcohol or glycerol may be converted to a polyol and/or a shorter carbon-chain alcohol that may include at least one of propylene glycol, ethylene glycol, glycerin, methanol, ethanol, propanol and butandiols. Specific processes for converting glycerin having a selectivity for propylene glycol and for converting sorbitol with a selectivity for propylene glycol, ethylene glycol, and/or glycerin are also described.

  • Publication number: 20030062930
Abstract: The present invention provides a novel gate driver apparatus in which an energy recovery circuitry is incorporated in a square-wave gate driver. The energy recovery circuitry comprises a first loop circuit for discharging the energy from the gate capacitor to an inductor when the gate driver is turned off, and a second loop circuit for discharging the energy from the inductor to the power supply. Thus, the energy of the gate capacitor is transferred to the power source when the gate driver is turned off, and the gate driver apparatus still maintains its operating flexibility as the square-wave driver and is independent of switching frequency.

  • Patent number: 6429605
Abstract: A novel circuit for driving a high intensity discharge (HID) lamp uses pulse width modulation (PWM) switches to generate a signal to be delivered to a HID lamp. During different portions of the operating cycle, the system uses one switch to facilitate all PWM signaling, while the circuit uses two switching switches to generate the PWM signaling during other portions of the cycle operation.

  • Patent number: 6278245
Abstract: An electronic ballast for a high intensity discharge lamp combines the functions of a boost converter and a buck converter and combines the line voltage rectification with the load commutation. With such a configuration, only one controller is required, and the control signal for the controller is taken off a resistor in series with the bus capacitor. As such, the lamp power is indirectly controlled by regulating the input buck current to the buck converter portion, instead of by measuring the lamp current.
