  • Patent number: 10896483
Abstract: Dynamic image content is generated based on various combinations of image elements associated with an input image unit. In this regard, an input image unit is selected and input into a dynamic content generation engine. The input image unit includes a number of image elements. Different combinations of image elements in the input image are added and/or removed to generate candidate image units. Different colors may be also be assigned to image elements based on a color palette. In this way, permutatively different candidate image units are automatically generated with different combination of elements from the input image unit and possibly different colors. Generation of candidate image units can be based on the application of a combination formula onto the image elements associated with the input image unit. The candidate image units are then displayed for selection and further modification.

  • Patent number: 10685472
Abstract: An image editing program can include animation brushes. An animation brush enables a content creator to draw as with any other digital brush. The animation brush will automatically generate elements, such as hair or raindrops. Each element can be drawn using a set of pixels that have a particular shape, location, and/or color, as determined by parameters associated with the animation brush. The image editing program can further animate the elements by determining, for each frame of an animation sequence, updated shape, location, and/or color values for the pixels of the elements. The image editing program can then redraw the elements. Redrawing of the elements can thus produce an animation.

  • Patent number: 10628981
Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments for automatically editing vector graphics documents. A computer receives input selecting a vector graphics document to be edited. The vector graphics document specifies a plurality of graphical elements. Additional input is received that specifies (i) a target element to be identified in the vector graphics document and (ii) an insertion element to be inserted into the vector graphics document. The computer identifies the graphical elements in the vector graphics document that match the target element by comparing a plurality of parameters that define the target element to the parameters that define the respective graphical elements in the vector graphics document. The computer inserts instances of the insertion element proximate to positions of the graphical elements in the vector graphics document that match the target element.

  • Patent number: 10423712
Abstract: Techniques for creating and managing chattels to control design asset behaviors are described. A behavior is assigned by a digital content creation system to design asset data. The behavior can indicate how the design asset data will respond in different conditions. Then, access level data is generated that identifies different user types and how the behavior of the design asset data is modifiable by the different user types. The digital content creation system subsequently generates chattel data that includes the behavior, the access level data, and a visual form of the design asset data and outputs the chattel data. The chattel data may be output to a centralized storage location, such as a cloud storage location, that allows other users to access the chattel data. The centralized storage location provides centralized control, allowing updates to the chattel to occur at each location where the chattel appears.

  • Patent number: 10244342
Abstract: Certain embodiments involve spatially representing graphical interface elements as binaural audio content. For example, a system accesses electronic content having various content elements and identifies the various content elements. The system generates a three-dimensional audio representation for a content element by: accessing an audio representation of the content element; identifying a visual location of the content element; and generating a three-dimensional audio representation of the content element by applying, to the audio representation of the content element and using the visual location, a finite impulse response filter using a head-related transfer function, wherein the head-related transfer function comprises a set of filter parameters that model the visual location of the content element and wherein, when played, the three-dimensional audio representation appears to originate from the visual location. The system can then output the three-dimensional audio representation.

  • Publication number: 20180356967
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and computer storage media for facilitating automatic generation of customizable storyboards. In embodiments, a textual scene description is received. Upon receipt of an indication to generate a storyboard, a textual analysis is performed to summarize the textual scene description and identify storyboard elements comprising characters, actions and objects. One or more images corresponding to the identified storyboard elements may be obtained, for example, from stock image libraries, custom inputs and/or custom libraries. The obtained images are combined, arranged and presented as an editable storyboard.
