Abstract: Systems, methods, and software are disclosed herein. A method comprises a computing apparatus displaying, in an application environment, a canvas on which to organize a collection of items on the canvas that are related to a project. The method includes the computing apparatus displaying a new item on the canvas comprising a goal associated with the project and having attributes associated with one or more items native to one or more other application environments. The method also includes the computing apparatus sending one or more requests to express, in the one or more other application environments, an association of the one or more items with the goal.

Abstract: An event can be stored using an indication of recurrence and an intent-time event time that includes a trigger indicator and optionally an offset. When a view of a calendar having intentional-time events is requested by a calendar application, a calendar service can search a storage resource for the requested calendar and any events that fall within a requested start time and end time. The identified events can be provided to a source of the request. Any intent-time event times that are stored as part of intentional-time events can be calculated based on their triggers and offsets. The calculations may be carried by the calendar service and the results provided to the calendar application or by the calendar application itself.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for providing a per-web-page time zone. One apparatus includes a memory storing a local time zone and at least one electronic processor. The at least one electronic processor is configured to execute a browser application to read a time zone value included in a web page to be displayed within the browser application, wherein the time zone value specifies a time zone different than the local time zone. The at least one electronic processor is also configured to apply the time zone specified by the time zone value in place of the local time zone for a time-related command included in the web page executed by the browser application without changing the local time zone to the time zone value included in the web page.

Abstract: Calendar events can be stored for calendar applications by providing a set of available intent-time options. When an input indicative of an event for a calendar item is received, an appropriate intent-time from the set of available intent-time options can be determined and any parameters suitable for the appropriate intent-time can be identified. The event can then be stored with a start property according to the appropriate intent-time and any of the parameters identified from the input. The set of available intent-time options can include a standard time option and one or more trigger-based time options such as astronomical phenomena-based time and tide-based time.
