Abstract: According to the present invention there is provide a method a method for matching features in an image with landmark representations in a landmark map, the method comprising: providing at least one image; extracting from the image one or more features; providing a landmark map comprising a list of landmark representations, wherein each landmark representation is a representation of a respective physical landmark; creating a plurality of policies, each policy comprising at least one matching decision of the feature and the landmark representation, each matching decision having a stage cost; assigning a policy cost to each of the policies, wherein the policy cost is a function of the stage costs of the matching decisions the policy is comprised of; selecting from the collection of the policies the policy with the desired policy cost. There is further provided an assembly having a processor which is configured to carry out said method.

Abstract: Asymmetric 1:2-chrome complex dyes of the formula: ##STR1## wherein A is the radical of 1-hydroxynaphthalene or 2-hydroxynaphthalene,R.sub.1 is hydrogen, chlorine or methyl,R.sub.2 is hydrogen, nitro or chlorine, andKa.sup.+ is a cation, and of the substituents X.sub.1, X.sub.2 and X.sub.3 one is an SO.sub.3 group, and the other two are hydrogen, X.sub.3 being hydrogen when R.sub.1 is chlorine and R.sub.2 is hydrogen,give blue shades on leather and other polyamides, which shades are lightfast and fast to wet processing.

Abstract: Dyes which are 1:2-chromium complexes, containing one azo dye or azomethine dye and one disazo dye or trisazo dye. The dyes are suitable for dyeing wool, synthetic polyamides and leather.

Abstract: A mixture comprising a yellow dye and a red dye each of formula I and a grey dye of formula II is employed in accordance with claim 1 for the trichromatic dyeing of leather.

Abstract: A process of dyeing polyamide-containing material is disclosed using dyes of the following formula: ##STR1## wherein Me is cobalt or chromium,Ka.sup..sym. is a cation,p is 0 or 1,R and R' are each independently of the other hydrogen or a group of the formula --CO--(O).sub.n --Y, wheren is 0 or 1, andY is C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkyl, or phenyl which may be substituted by nitro, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkoxy,with the proviso that R and R' may not both be hydrogen if p is 1.Novel dyes within this class are also disclosed. The process is especially useful for dyeing leather.

Abstract: Chrome azo-azomethine dyes are disclosed which contain a benzthiazolylphenyl or stilbenyl radical bound via an aldehyde group to the aldehyde moiety of the azomethine dyes. The dyes are particularly useful for dyeing wool, polyamide and leather.

Abstract: 1:2 Metal complex dyes of formula I ##STR1## and mixtures thereof with the metal complex dyes of formulae II and III ##STR2## wherein Me is chromium or cobalt and Q.sup..sym. is a cation. The dyes and dye mixtures are suitable for dyeing and printing natural or synthetic polyamide material. Printing pastes and padding liquors prepared from these dyes or mixtures have no tendency to gel.

Abstract: Red monoazo dyestuffs frm diazotised 1-aminobenzene-2-sulphonic acid-N-methyl-N-cyclohexylamide or 1-amino-4-,-5- or -6-methyl-benzene-2-sulphonic acid-N-methyl-N-cyclohexylamide and 2-amino-8-hydroxynaphthalene-6-sulphonic acid are disclosed which are particularly distinguished by their good migration and levelling properties and excellent fastness to light. Said dyestuffs are moreover suitable for obtaining very even combination dyeings together with known blue or yellow acid dyestuffs. These dyestuffs are particularly suited for the dyeing of carpeting, upholstery fabrics and drapery materials.

Abstract: Cobalt and chromium complex dyes which contain, bonded to a metal atom, one molecule of each of the azo compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is methyl or ethyl and the phenyl ring a is unsubstituted or substituted by 1 to 2 chlorine atoms, nd mixtures thereof with the symmetrical 1:2 cobalt or chromium complex dyes of the azo compounds of the formulae (1) and (2), said dyes being useful in the dyeing and printing of a variety of materials, especially nitrogen containing materials such as silk, leather, polyamides, polyurethanes and especially wool to obtain level dyes having good fastness to light, washing, water, hot water, fulling, decatizing and carbonizing.
