Abstract: A kink resistant endotracheal tube intubation device and a method for using the device are provided. The kink resistant endotracheal tube intubation device has a first tube portion in operable connection with a second tube portion. The first and second tube portions of the endotracheal tube intubation may be integrated into one piece or formed of two or more portions that are in operable attachment. The first tube portion is preferably substantially rigid and it has a lumen for dispensing gas or fluids, for example to anesthetize a patient.

Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a doorjam is provided, the doorjam comprising a main body having a gap therethrough and a handle portion to facilitate grasping the doorjam. The gap in the main body may be configured to slidably engage a handle of a door, and the main body may have a width sufficient to contact the door and a stationary member.

Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a toothpick is provided, which comprises a longitudinally compressible tip comprising a spirally wound ribbon. In some embodiments, the toothpick may further comprise an elongate body configured adjacent a proximal end of the tip. The spirally wound ribbon of the toothpick may comprise nylon or other suitable materials.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a dental model having teeth with removable enamel mounted in a jaw. Embodiments of the present invention may be adapted to demonstrate tooth erosion with or without gum recession that may result from contact between teeth in the upper and lower jaws. Removed enamel may be retracted into a space within the teeth, into a space within the gums, or manually removed. The model is preferably used to demonstrate tooth enamel loss, gum recession, and their treatments to dental students and patients.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a dental stain removing device is disclosed. The dental stain removing device preferably comprises a polishing cup, a handle having a longitudinal axis generally perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the polishing cup, and a neck. The neck is connected to the handle at a proximal end and is connected to the cup at its distal end. A motor and power source are located within the handle, and a shock-absorbing adapter for coupling the neck to the handle is also disposed within the device.
