  • Publication number: 20080210532
Abstract: The present invention relates to a single-pole or multi-pole switch to be used preferably in low-voltage systems. The switch (1) comprises an outer casing (2) containing for each pole at least one fixed contact (10) and one mobile contact (20) that can be coupled to/uncoupled from one another. The mobile contacts (20) are housed in appropriate seats (25) provided on a mobile element (50). The switch (1) moreover comprises an energy-accumulation control mechanism (60), operatively connected to the mobile element (50) to enable its movement. The switch (1) according to the invention is advantageously provided with means of axial support operatively connected to the mobile element (50) in order to support the gravitational thrusts that are generated along the axis of rotation of the mobile element itself when said axis is inclined with respect to a substantially horizontal plane.

  • Patent number: 7145421
Abstract: A supply device (1) for an electronic protection device to be used in a low-voltage circuit breaker. The supply device basically comprises a primary conductor (11), a secondary winding (12), a first magnetic circuit (10), and at least one second magnetic circuit (20). The first magnetic circuit (10) is such as to surround said primary conductor (11), which is related to a phase protected by the protection device; at the same time, the first magnetic circuit (10) constitutes the core of said secondary winding (12) that is used for supply of the protection device. The second magnetic circuit (20) is structurally separated from the first magnetic circuit (10), but is operatively connected thereto for subtracting part of the first magnetic flux generated within it by the current circulating in the primary conductor (11).

  • Patent number: 7128620
Abstract: A junction between a flexible conductor and a connection terminal is disclosed. The junction includes a connection terminal that is shaped substantially like a parallelepiped and has an upper face and a lower face, a pair of side faces and an end face. The connection terminal includes, on the end face, one or more slots shaped substantially like a parallelepiped, which run through the entire thickness of the connection terminal. The junction further includes at least one flexible conductor, in which one end part is shaped so as to mate substantially with the inner walls of the slots. The end part of the flexible conductor is inserted in the slots and cold coined, and the flexible conductor protrudes substantially at right angles from one of the upper, lower or end faces. At least one laser welding bead runs across the two slots along two of the faces from which the flexible conductor does not protrude.
