Abstract: A method, a system, and a terminal for adjusting screen brightness of the terminal includes the steps of obtaining a first screen display brightness value corresponding to ambient light brightness value, and obtaining illumination value of a camera and looking up a second screen display brightness value. When the second screen display brightness value is greater than the first screen display brightness value, the second screen display brightness value is set as the screen display brightness value. Namely, the display brightness is controlled by an Automatic Exposure Control (AEC) system, which increases displaying detail of image on the display.

Abstract: A method for switching off communication screen to avoid false triggering based on a mobile terminal and system employing the same are described. The method comprises: controlling the mobile terminal to switch off the touch-screen and enter a communication gesture mode when the mobile terminal is detected to be in the communication mode and there is no touch operation in the mobile terminal during a predetermined interval; and acquiring a gesture operation instruction of a user and controlling the mobile terminal to perform a plurality of corresponding operations based on a preconfigured gesture operation instruction. The present invention switches off the communication screen to avoid false triggering.

Abstract: The present invention proposes a method for deleting messages and a related terminal. The method includes: A: recording a sliding path of a user on a terminal and mapping the sliding path as a message deleting command; B: defining a margin of error based on the sliding path; C: popping up a message prompt box when a new message is detected and must be displayed, whether the screen is locked or the terminal is being used; D: examining the sliding path of users on the screen and deciding whether it is in line with the pre-defined deleting path; and E: deleting the message directly when the sliding path is in line with the pre-defined deleting path. As such, users can immediately delete spam messages when a message is received, even if the screen is locked. The method is easy to use and provide significant convenience to users.

When a touch signal is inputted, calculating an area of a valid touch region in which a user touches the touchscreen and comparing the calculated area of the valid touch region with the area threshold value. If the area of the valid touch region is greater than or equal to the area threshold value, controlling the mobile terminal to turn off the alarm. If the area of the valid touch region is smaller than the area threshold value, the alarm of the mobile terminal keeps ringing.

Abstract: A method and system for unlocking a mobile phone screen includes, in a locked state, the mobile phone receives a user instruction, lights up a mobile phone screen, and enters an unlocking interface. In a case that a touching event has been detected within a per-determined time period, touching region information, corresponding to the touching event, is obtained and a touching area is calculated based on the touching region information. The touching area is compared with a per-determined threshold and, when the touching area is larger than the pre-determined threshold, the touching event is determined to meet a requirement for unlocking, and the mobile phone is controlled to unlock the mobile phone screen. Otherwise, unlocking failure information is returned to the user. Thereby, mobile phone screen unlocking is achieved by way of a large area touching of a mobile phone screen.

Thereby, inconvenient operation associated with turning off a ringing alarm of a mobile terminal according to the prior art is eliminated.
