According to certain embodiments, the computer mouse is designed to work with different types of translating modules depending on the application that the user wishes to use or the types of tasks that the user would like to perform with the help of the computer mouse. According to certain embodiments, the translating module on the computer mouse can be adjusted based on a given user's hand characteristics and/or based on the ease of use of the computer mouse as determined by a given user.
