    Abstract: Improved coating formulations containing silica based matting agents in the form of a blend of low pore volume silica particles and high pore volume silica particles are disclosed. The matting formulations are useful in waterborne coating compositions to provide exceptional properties to a coated substrate. Films resulting from the coating formulations containing silica-based matting agents on a substrate unexpectedly provide improved chemical resistance to the surface of the substrate, in particular wood or plastics. Methods of making and using the silica-based matting formulations are also disclosed.

The first network device receives a packet from a second workload for the first workload and determines that a destination of the packet matches the specific route in the routing table. The method routes the packet from the second workload to the first workload using the specific route in the routing table without sending the packet to the second site.

    Abstract: A multi-spectral lens comprises a circular polarizer and a tunable cholesteric filter having an associated reflection band. Incoming light is circularly polarized to one handedness by the circular polarizer, and the tunable cholesteric filter transmits the circularly polarized light and reflects the opposite handedness of the circularly polarized light if within the reflection band of the filter, with the reflection band of the tunable cholesteric filter varying with a control voltage. In a preferred embodiment, a mirror is arranged to receive light transmitted by the tunable cholesteric filter and reflect it back towards the filter with flipped handedness, with the reflected light with flipped handedness that is within the reflection band of the tunable cholesteric filter reflected by the tunable cholesteric filter back toward the mirror. The architecture described effectively converts the reflection band of a tunable cholesteric filter into a tunable bandpass filter for a multi-spectral imaging lens.

The method determines whether a table that includes IP addresses for a set of DCNs that use the distributed router as a default gateway includes the IP address.
