    Abstract: An electrical connector (100) includes an insulative housing (1) defining a main body (10) and a tongue plate (11) extending from the main body, and a number of terminals (2) retained in the insulative housing and being arranged in two rows. Each terminal has a contacting portion (201) extending into the tongue plate, a retaining portion (202) retained in the main body, a bending portion (22) extending from the retaining portion, and a tail portion (23) extending from the bending portion and comprising a mounting portion (231) for being mounted on a PCB. The bending portions (22) in each one of the two rows bending oppositely to the other row from the respective retaining portions. A distance between the two rows of the mounting portions (231) is greater than a distance between the two rows of the contacting portions (201). A distance between each two adjacent mounting portions (231) in each row is greater than a distance between the two respective contacting portions (201).

The first bending sections include a plurality of first offset sections and at least one second offset section. A first slope of each first offset section is of negative number while a second slope of the second offset section is of positive number so that a space between each adjacent two first tail sections is much larger than that of the corresponding first contacting sections for easily soldering of the first tail sections.

    Abstract: A centrifugal switching device of a single-phase induction motor includes a centrifuge and pressure switches. The centrifuge includes a centrifugal sleeve, a centrifugal base, shaft coupling blocks, and a spring. The spring is directly fitted on the centrifugal base. Under a centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the motor, shaft coupling blocks I and II slide axially against an axial force of the spring, thus forcing an axial end surface of the centrifugal sleeve to be separated from contacts of the pressure switches, such that a starting winding of a stator ferrite-core coil of the single-phase induction motor is disconnected and a heater is turned on. The shaft coupling blocks I and II adopt a design with round transition, central sliding contact, and smooth rotation, thereby achieving a simple structure, convenient mounting, and safety usage.

    Abstract: Hydrophobic organic substances are separated from aqueous industrial effluent containing said hydrophobic organic substances and hydrophilic organic substances by adding to the effluent at substantially neutral pH a salt of a metal having an insoluble hydroxide thereby forming an hydroxide sludge entraining said hydrophobic, oxidizable organic substances, and separating the sludge from the treated effluent containing the hydrophilic organic substances. The invention has particular application to the removal of toxic hydrophobic, oxidizable organic substances from aqueous industrial effluent and their subsequent destruction by oxidation, especially ozonation, of the separated sludge, thereby reducing the oxygen demand compared with oxidation of the entire effluent to reduce said toxic substances to their discharge consent level.
