The method includes: displaying a video play page, where a target video scene of a currently played video and at least one control area of the currently played video are displayed in the video play page, and the at least one control area is located in an upper layer of the target video scene and configured to display at least one interaction control of the currently played video; receiving a target slide operation acting on the video play page; and in response to the target slide operation, controlling the target video scene to move along a sliding direction of the target slide operation and adjusting a degree to which the at least one interaction control blocks the target video scene.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and apparatus for displaying an activity entrance, an electronic device and a storage medium, where the method is applied in a client, including: receiving an activity promotion video, playing the activity promotion video, and pausing the activity promotion video when the playing reaches a preset image frame; switching from a current playing interface to a mask interface, and displaying the activity entrance in the mask interface.

A specific implementation manner of the method includes: displaying a video playing page, where the video playing page includes video information and a user interaction control; in response to detecting a first user operation of a user on the video playing page, hiding the video information, adjusting opacity of the user interaction control from initial opacity to target opacity, and adjusting a display position of the user interaction control from an initial position to a target position, where obstructed area of a video displayed on the video playing page when the user interaction control is at the target position is smaller than obstructed area of the video displayed on the video playing page when the user interaction control is at the initial position.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for displaying video, an electronic device, and a medium, where the method includes: under a condition that a display type of a target video is a horizontal video, displaying a landscape access control on a playback page of the target video; in response to detecting a click operation on the landscape access control, displaying a landscape display page of the target video and displaying the target video on the landscape display page; and in response to detecting a switching operation for the landscape display page, displaying a switched video on the landscape display page. This method realizes the full-screen viewing of the horizontal video in the vertical screen player, and improves the viewing experience for the user.
