Abstract: A hernia mesh fabric for repair of in particular inguinal or hiatus hernias comprises a base sheet (1) of layered, flexible mesh material; a passage (3) in the base sheet (1) for a body canal, in particular for the spermatic cord or the oesophagus; an insertion slit (5) between the contour (4, 9) of the base sheet (1) and the passage (3) for insertion of the body canal into the passage (3); and a sewing bridge (7) which is located in the vicinity of the mouth (6) and able to be folded down on the insertion slit (5) and, on both sides thereof, to be stitched to the mesh material of the base sheet (1).

Abstract: A surgical anastomosis ring insertion device is provided with a leading-in tube insertable into the intestinal tract, with a cylindrical retaining head, disposed on the distal end of the leading-in tube, for the anastomosis ring, with a slider mechanism for engaging and locking the anastomosis ring, the slider mechanism being disposed in the vicinity of the retaining head and actuatable by way of a transmission from the proximal end of the leading-in tube, and with a drive, disposed on the proximal end of the leading-in tube, for the transmission of the slider mechanism.

Abstract: A surgical suture clamp is provided with two clamp jaws positioned movably one in relation to the other in a forceps-like manner. It is formed as an endoscopable suture clamp to be inserted into the body through a trocar and provided with a leading tube, in the vicinity of the inner tube end of which, to be lead into the body, at least one clamp jaw is positioned to be pivotably driven in relation to the second clamp jaw. A drive is arranged in the portion of the outer tube end remaining outside the body and is coupled by way of a transmission with the at least one pivotably driven clamp jaw.

Abstract: A surgical closure which can be repeatedly opened and closed, especially one for an abdominal incision, consisting of flexible fabric or plate-like securing means which can be firmly secured to the bodily tissue close to the incision but can be released therefrom and with a closure bringing together its end regions above the incision which can be opened and closed at any time, is to be improved in such a way that a completely pressure-tight closure is obtained but which may be opened as often as desired. This is achieved in that it is fitted with a securing component (15) surrounding the incision on all sides which has an opening (4) that can be placed above the incision and consists of a tube (5) of flexible material extending upward from and surrounding the opening (4) and the tube (5) itself acts as the closure or is fitted with such.
