  • Patent number: 6767660
Abstract: Distributor systems supply a stationary fuel-cell system with a combustible via a combustible source. The stationary fuel-cell system is assigned to one or more buildings arranged in a stationary quarter. The distribution system serves for supplying the building or buildings with power and/or heat, and the distributor system has, in the stationary quarter, an extraction station, assigned to the combustible source, for supplying mobile consumers with a combustible or with a fuel extracted from the latter, the mobile consumers having a mobile fuel-cell system and a storage tank.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 21, 2001
Date of Patent: July 27, 2004
    Assignee: DaimlerChrysler AG

  • Patent number: 4733356
Abstract: A control device of a component vehicle route guidance system, the system comprising an on-board section having a navigation computer, and a vehicle-installed display for indicating the driver information data of the system. The control device is constructed as a portable hand-operated unit including a route computer, operating means and its own display, allowing the preselection of the route functions to be performed outside the vehicle. The device interfaces with the guidance system by plugging it into the on-board section in the vehicle. Various functions are enabled depending on which position the control device occupies in the on-board section.

  • Patent number: 4436170
Abstract: An externally mechanically track-guided vehicle, especially for the public local passenger traffic, which is equipped with a vehicle axle having steerable wheels and with support arms arranged at the wheel hubs of the steerable wheels and extending forwardly in the driving direction on one side of a respective hub. Cross-guide rollers for automatically influencing the deflection angle of the steerable wheels are provided at the forward end of each support arm which are located in front of the steerable wheels, as viewed in the driving direction. The support arms are constructed as bending-rigid as possible under elimination of elasticities or yieldingnesses while the metallic cross-guide rollers are provided with a solid rubber tread.

  • Patent number: 4344136
Abstract: An on board vehicular data processing system samples vehicular operating parameters such as fuel level, distance travel, etc. The system calculates values of other parameters such as range and travel time. Under control of the position of the ignition key, which assumes positions representative of modes of operation, OFF, PARK, TRIP, START, the system displays indications of a limited number of sensed and calculated parameters, the particular indications being those which are most useful for the instant mode of operation represented by the position of the ignition key. After a trip, system parameters may be stored for future reference by a predetermined sequencing of the ignition key position. Such storage may be cleared by a second sequencing of the ignition key positions. Parameter reference values may be stored as maximum or minimum and present values for a parameter may be compared with the maximum or minimum and an alarm indication given, acoustical or optical.
