    Abstract: Means and method are provided for implanting an artificial tooth in the alveolus in the jaw bone which is left when the tooth is extracted. The method comprises wrapping a thin, sheet metal base with barbed projections around the depending root portion of an artificial tooth, and pressing the root portion with the sheet metal wrapped therearound down into the alveolus, to act as an interface between the alveolus and the material of the root of the artificial tooth to securely hold the artificial tooth into the alveolus while bone material grows up around the sheet metal base and the root portion of the artificial tooth.

    Abstract: A window shade sealing system is provided having a pair of vertically oriented side panels which capture the side edges of a shade as it is pulled down, and a pair of baffles mounted respectively at the top and bottom of the window frame to respectively seal off the shade roller, and the bottom shade slat, from the window so that cold air between the window and the shade, and air leaking around the window casement, is trapped and prevented from entering the building.

    Abstract: A complete window shade and sealing system is provided as a separate unit having peel-off adhesive permitting all portions of the system to be press-fitted onto an existing window frame, creating a completely sealed cover for the window when the shade is in its down position, preventing the entry of air, dust, radio-active fall-out, etc., and greatly reducing energy-sapping heat transfers occurring through the window by creating an air pocket.
