Abstract: The present invention is an accessory hanger. In one embodiment this accessory hanger has an arm with first and second ends and first and second angles and a support base. The support base is rotatably coupled to the first end of the arm. The length of first end of the arm is at least substantially the same as that of the support base. This feature provides the necessary support and balance to allow the support base to remain stable on a flat when weight is applied to the arm in the downward direction. This accessory hanger is a compact, portable device that may be used to hang handbags, umbrellas, shopping bags, jackets and other items from restaurant table tables or any other suitable flat surface. This accessory hanger is made even more compact and portable when the arm includes has a coupling means such as a hinge that allows it to be folded or a screw connection that allows the arm to be disassembled.
