Abstract: The present disclosure concerns a group of cannabinoid compounds defined by formulas (I) to (IV), wherein R1 is —H or —COOH, for the first time isolated and fully characterized in structure, absolute stereochemistry by the present applicant. Methods of isolation, characterization, stereoselective synthesis, biological activity, pharmaceutical composition and therapeutic applications of the present compounds as modulators of the cannabinoid CB1 receptor are also object of the disclosure.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a lid 1 for closing a drinking cup, wherein the lid 1 includes a drinking straw 7 and an opening 8 for direct mouth drinking. The repartitioning between a first part 2a of the lid 1 used for the straw 7 and a second part 2b used for the opening 8 for mouth drinking is preferably 2:1 when expressed in surface area of a base portion 2 of the lid 1. A first and a second cavity 6a, 6b, in which the straw 7 and the opening 8 for mouth drinking are respectively contained, are formed and sealed in the first and second part 2a, 2b of the lid 1, respectively, by a first cover 5 to one side of the lid 1, and by a second cover 11 and third cover 13, respectively, to the other side of the lid 1.

Abstract: A method for producing frozen desserts comprises the steps of: producing a frozen premix package at a first site, transporting the frozen premix package in the frozen state to a different, second site, and producing a frozen dessert, using a batch freezer, or a soft-ice machine on the basis of the frozen premix package defrosted at the second site, for instance a point of sale. The premix package contains a batch of premixed pasteurized ingredients for the production of a frozen dessert, wherein the premix is in a sealed packaging, and wherein the premix is in a frozen state.
