  • Publication number: 20190277462
Abstract: A flexible lighting strip comprises a multitude of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and is arranged to bend around at least two, preferably three, linear independent axes. The LEDs are arranged in at least two groups, wherein each group comprises at least two LEDs arranged in an electrical series connection. The groups are arranged in an electrical parallel connection to an anode and cathode track. The groups are arranged in a longitudinal arrangement such that a last LED of a first group is arranged next to the first LED of a second group, and are mechanically coupled via an electrically isolated coupling structure such that a stiffness of the flexible lighting strip between the last LED of the first group and the first LED of the second group is matched to a mechanical stiffness between neighboring LEDs comprised by one of the first or second.
