  • Patent number: 10358070
Abstract: A head restraint assembly is provided with a head restraint frame mounted to a post for movement along the post for adjustment relative to a vehicle seat. The head restraint frame has a contact surface. A biasing member is mounted to the head restraint frame for movement relative to the head restraint frame to maintain the head restraint frame in a locked condition along the post. An actuation member is mounted to the head restraint frame for movement relative to the head restraint frame. The actuation member cooperates with the biasing member such that movement of the actuation member moves the biasing member, thereby disengaging the biasing member from the post to permit movement of the head restraint along the post such that the biasing member engages the contact surface in the second position to provide feedback to the user of an unlocked condition of the head restraint frame.

  • Patent number: 10314401
Abstract: A seat assembly having a support post, a headrest, and a latch mechanism. The latch mechanism may have first and second guide wires that control movement of the headrest along first and second axes, respectively. The latch mechanism may permit movement of the headrest along the first and second axes when in an unlatched position.

  • Patent number: 10246022
Abstract: A map pocket assembly is provided with a seat back panel adapted to attach to a seat back, a map pocket panel coupled to the seat back panel and moveable between a closed position and an open position relative to the seat back panel to define a pocket opening therebetween, and a spring arm coupling the seat back panel to the map pocket panel to bias the map pocket panel to the closed position. The spring arm has first and second spring fingers extending from a spring base coupled to one of the seat back panel and the map pocket panel. The first and second spring fingers are moved to a spring angle relative to each other when the map pocket panel is moved to the open position that is greater than the spring angle when the map pocket panel is in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 8882200
Abstract: A seat assembly having a soft latch mechanism. The soft latch mechanism includes a spring arm disposed on a bracket and a housing disposed on a seat back frame. The housing engages an end portion of the spring arm when the seat back frame is in a folded position to inhibit movement of the seat back frame away from the seat bottom frame.
