The programmable filter has a tunable bandwidth and center frequency over a large range of the radio frequency (RF) and intermediate frequency (IF) spectrum. The programmable filter incorporates micro-electro-mechanical switches (MEMS), Acoustic Charge Transport (ACT) devices, or a combination thereof, to provide tunability of the bandpass filter response characteristics.
